Principal's Message

Hello Newcastle Families!
What an amazing and memorable week it has been! Our staff returned on August 4 for orientation and worked diligently to prepare their classrooms for the first day of school.
The first day was truly special! Thank you to our PTC for the awesome signage and fun photo opportunities that helped make the day so memorable. It was wonderful to see so many smiles and so much enthusiasm as we kicked off a new school year! We also had a FUN Welcome back assembly!
As a reminder, Monday is an early release day. Dismissal times are:
  • TK: 11:45AM.
  • Kindergarten: 12:10 p.m.
  • Grades 1–8: 1:30 p.m.
We look forward to seeing everyone on Monday morning at 7:45 a.m.
Have a wonderful weekend, and thank you for helping us make the start of the school year such a success!

School Site Council

If you are interested in serving on the Newcastle Site Council for the 2026–27and 2027-28 school years (two-year commitment), please contact Danielle Fee by August 21st. We have four openings. Meetings are in-person on the first Thursday of each month at 3pm.

After School Enrichment Opportunities

We are beginning to build our Fall After School Enrichment offerings. If you or anyone you know is interested in teaching a class, please contact Danielle Fee. Students are interested in a variety of activities, including but not limited to chess, flag football, board games, art, ukulele, origami, coding, STEAM, and so much more. Don’t be shy; you don’t have to be a professional to share your passion and inspire young minds. All ideas are welcome! Enrichment classes are typically 4 to 8 weeks in length and run anywhere from 45 minutes to 1.5 hours, depending on your class. Classes are tentatively scheduled to begin the week of September 24th.
