School Calendar Parent Input Survey

Dear Newcastle Families,

We are seeking your input as we plan the Newcastle Elementary School District calendars for the 2027–28 through 2029–30 school years.

Calendar development requires balancing several important considerations, including instructional time, attendance trends, staff needs, community preferences, alignment with the Placer Union High School District calendars - which are currently in draft form - and state and employee work-calendar requirements.

With your input, we anticipate presenting draft calendars to the Board for review on October 14, 2026, with approval scheduled for November 18, 2026.
